The Cultural & Heritage Tourism Alliance is an innovative group of dedicated tourism marketing professionals who share the vision and challenge of promoting cultural and heritage experiences to tourists in their towns, cities, regions and states. As the travel industry continues to grow, unprecedented opportunity exists for bringing enriching, exciting, and educational programs to an eager public. Travelers are regularly and frequently choosing to incorporate cultural experiences into their itineraries, and choosing their leisure destinations based on cultural merit.

The Alliance creates a forum for fresh ideas and renewed vitality in the industry. Through mentorship and networking, CHTA contributes to positive growth and a strong sense of community among cultural and heritage tourism professionals. An annual conference serves to address key opportunities and challenges in cultural and heritage tourism and to provide valuable professional development and connections. The 2008 Cultural & Heritage Tourism Alliance Conference will be held November 5-8 in Delray Beach, Florida! Email culturaltourism@palmbeachculture.com to add your name to the conference mailing list.

The CHTA is guided by a volunteer steering committee. We have no formal office or association, no dues, and no paid membership. Anyone working in the industry may be part of the Alliance and participate in the network.
